Crisis Intervention Clinician CIRT

The Crisis Intervention Clinician CIRT will provide clinical interventions to individuals in the community exhibiting symptoms of a mental health crisis. This position's duties will include the following:

  • Will work in partnership with a Crisis Intervention Response Team (CIRT) trained officer with Conroe Police Department
  • Will interface with individuals in Conroe City limits assisting them with short-term needs and linkage to appropriate mental health services
  • Provide the following services: crisis intervention, assessments, crisis follow up, and other tasks as indicated as part of the CIRT Team
  • Will work non-traditional business hours, every other weekend and some holidays

Position Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in a social services field
  • Licensed as LPC, LCSW or LMFT in the state of Texas preferred
  • Will consider the following at lower rate of pay:
    • Bachelors Degree in social services field 
      • Must qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) under Texas Administrative Code (TAC) credentialing requirement (Rule §353.1415)**
  • At least 2 years experience in community based crisis mental health
  • Applicants must have a valid drivers license and be insurable through Tri-County.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Compensation:

LPC, LCSW, LMFT:

Hourly rate: $34.32

Annual equivalent: $71,399

QMHP:

Hourly rate: $27.40

Annual Equivalent: 56,992
